As you all know by now, today is World AIDS Day. It was established back in 1988 by the World Health Organization to provide governments, national AIDS programs, faith organizations, community organizations, and individuals with an opportunity to raise awareness and focus attention on the global AIDS epidemic.
Well I love the fact that with MAC, "Every Day is World AIDS Day". Oh, and yes, RuPaul was the "First Face of MAC" and helped raise over $22 million dollars for the MAC AIDS fund.
MAC shared with me a few facts that I thought you should know as well: 1. Over 30 million people are living with HIV/AIDS today in the world, 2. The MAC AIDS Fund has raised over 130 million dollars through the sales of Viva Glam products since 1994, 3. 100% of the selling price of Viva Glam products goes towards the fund to help people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS globally, 4. The MAC AIDS Fund is the largest non-pharmaceutical funder of HIV/AIDS organizations, 5. One Viva Glam lipstick can buy 5 meals for someone living with HIV/AIDS.
Have you been tested?

To "MakeupByRenRen": Awwww, glad to know that- and yes, it IS a great cause! :)
Mischo, is there any possibility that you actually have the card with Ru Paul saying "I am the MAC girl" ? PLEASE contact me at FloridaLadyB at aol if you or anyone knows how to obtain this card.
Thank you!
To "macupaddict": Unfortunately, I don't have it. Have you tried calling MAC's corporate offices to find out if they might have additional copies? It might be worth a try! :)
