Mischo Beauty Loves Slatkin & Co. "Autumn Apple" Candle

You can probably tell from this photo that I'm still celebrating my birthday! Actually, I plan to do so all month long (Hehehe!). These beautiful red roses and this Slatkin & Co. "Autumn Apple" candle have given me LIFE, and I just thought I'd share them with you. Enjoy your weekend.

Mischo Beauty Pick: Diptyque’s Cologne Collection

I've been loving Diptyque's candles for a while now- my favorites being Tubereuse, Freesia, Pomander and Oranger. Well, Diptyque's Cologne Collection, which consists of L'Eau de L'Eau, L'Eau de Neroli and L'Eau des Hesperides, recently won the French Fragrance Foundation's Grand Prix du Parfum for Exclusive Distribution and Marie-Claire's Beauty-Fashion Editor's Top Choice.

So I'm still loving Delirium & Co. candles, specifically the "Silver Period" collection of candles. You might remember me telling you how much I loved the Pear & Violet candle a few months ago. Well, now I've moved on to the Delicate Bouquet candle and it's fragrance is simply amazing!

The fragrance is a blend of lilac, lily of the valley, white jasmine, peach flower and ylang ylang. And I've found that the scent lasts for hours after burning it for just a short period of time. And like the Pear & Violet candle, it's also encased in translucent, reflective silver glass. Mischo Beauty Pick: Pear & Violet by Delirium & Co. Candles

My favorite candle of the moment is Pear & Violet by Delirium & Co. I'm partial to floral and citrus scents, so I when I saw the name, I was naturally attracted to it. The scent is amazing and it's packaging (the candle is placed in handmade translucent reflective glass) is elegant.

This candle is a member of the "The Silver Period" collection which includes China Tea, Delicate Bouquet and Sensual Camelia candles. The second collection is called "The Blue Period" and features Royal Amber, Samurai Woods, Suede & Smoke, and Sweet Tobacco candles. Mischo Beauty Pick: Crabtree & Evelyn's New India Hicks Island Night Collection

Recently I learned that India Hicks, host of Top Design, has partnered with Crabtree & Evelyn to create a fragrance collection called India Hicks Island Night. She lives on an island in the Bahamas and so it was natural for her to draw inspiration from her surroundings. The collection's fragrance is a blend of orchids, night-blooming flowers, orange blossom, green island palms and a woody musk.

My favorites from this collection include the Scented Candle, Eau de Toilette and the Rich Body Cream. The collection also includes an Evening Fragrance Compact with Enhancer, Creamy Body Wash, Milky Bath, Smooth Body Lotion, and a Fragrance Diffuser. The India Hicks' Island Night collection is free of parabens, mineral oil, sodium lauryl and laureth sulfate, propylene glycol and colorants.
