As I mentioned in a post earlier today, I don't like to rely on supplements for all of my nutritional needs. But, my diet isn't perfect and I refuse to allow my hair, skin and nails to suffer because of it! I am constantly working to improve my diet, and I know I'll get there! But, in the meantime, I'm assisted with the regimen below:
- Multivitamin
- Flax Seed Oil
- Fish Oil
- Borage Oil
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin B12
- Cod Liver Oil
- Veggie Greens
- Psyllium Husks
So my question for you today is: What's your vitamin/supplement regimen? What do you take and why?

I take probiotics, which are basically live bacteria that help aid your digestive system. I also take a multivitamin. Are each of those supplements you listed taken individually?
Currently I take the following twice a day:
multi-vitamin
5000 mcg biotin
2500 mg B12 sublingual
500 mg Calcium
Fish Oil
Vitamin D
Cod Liver Oil Pills
Because I am a gastrice bypass patient now I don't eat all of my needed supplements any more so to get the needed daily supp. I take all these twice a day. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin and hair:)
To The BeautyXchange: Thanks for that! And yes, I take each individually...
To slvrlips: Wow! Thanks so much for sharing that- really appreciate it.
solgar hair nail and skin supplement, source naturals b-3 and a multivitamin from the drugstore.
I'm a vitamin nut.. I take Multi, Essential Fatty Acid, green shake, msm, Extra Vitamin C (great for building collagen) Zinc (great for hair growth), B-12 sublingual,
I work out about 5 days a week and my FAVORITE supplement would have to be my hemp seed protein powder. Hemp seeds have the most complete edible and usable protein! BUT, they are a complete meal. They contain all the essential amino acids the body needs to survive. Then there's my Vegan Multi-Vitamin and my B-Complex, Flax seed oil...Hmmm, I wonder if my probiotics count? lol
I take a lot of vits & supplements because I don't have the best diet so I try to compensate w/ my vit regimen. I take: Centrum 1 A Day multi vit for Women, Evening Primrosw, Biotin, Garlic Oil, Omega 3, GNC Ultra Nourish Hair, Flaxseed Oil, Super B Complex, L-Cysteine, and Zinc. When I don't feel like taking all those I usually take my multi vit & a Nioxin Intensive Recharging Complex.
Daily I take - Flaxseed Oil (good for managing dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis), Phyto Phytophanere (hair/nails), Rene Furterer Vitalfan (hair), Vitamin C (immune system) & a basic antioxidant (general health/skin/hair).
To Crystal: Thanks for sharing!

I've been taking "Phyto Phytophanere" supplements for 2mos. not but have not notice a much change. But I'm going to consider the Flaxseed Oil supplements.
I'm interested in IMEDEEN Time release supplements -any good?
To Eve's Core: You should give yourself 60- 90 days, and it also varies by individual... I haven't tried the Imedeen supplements- if you do, please let me know your thoughts! :)
