What are your "hair plans" for the summer?

With summer quickly approaching (of course, not fast enough), I'd love to know what your plans are for your hair! Are you planning to cut, color or add extensions? Will you be wearing it curly or rocking a "no-fuss" style (if so, tell us what it is!). Whatever your plans might be, please share!

My new beauty editor, Ayanna, recently colored her hair (inspired by Queen Latifah's haircolor in the new CoverGirl Queen Collection ads! Click to see the before and after (click on her profile pic)!

I am in the midst of transitioning (7 months) from relaxed to natural. I cut my shoulder length hair into a chin length bob then decided to transition. I love my curls but have about 3/4 relaxer on the longer layers. My hair no longer wants to play it straight! I'm wearing braids for the next few weeks to give my hair a break.

I'm growing my hair out. I recently had it cut short again & I realize now that short hair just isn't me. My hair is too coarse to be Halle short. This summer I'll be following an aggressive growth regimen.

I'm wearing senegalese twists all summer...I shaved my head last year around labor day and finally decided to grow it back!

Ive gotten my very fist weave install. I had it installed yesterday and I LOVE IT! Its so natural looking! Im transitioning from texlaxed to natural hair. Im really close to being totally natural but grueling work out sessions have caused me to resort to bunning and half wigs---that was boring. So happy with my install!

Great question! Well originally I wanted locs but I just rode out my big chop and now it's a full blown afro. Lately I have just been wearing twist outs or wash-n-gos so I plan to continue with the kinky/curly fro look until further notice. My hair is so healthy now that I don't want to ruin it lol. I have been contemplating color for a while but I will just pass on that for now. I do however want to try henna this summer for extra shine!

Hi everyone, I was planning to let my hair au natural this summer but unfortunately it's still way too thin due to hair coloration and perms. I'm covering it with a short weave à la Kelis and as soon as it's thicker I will let my hair naturally dark brown and play with different shapes of french braids. I love french braids if you have any beautiful pictures please share. By the way, Moroccanoil is a nice brand, my hair is growing faster and the texture... oh la la Thanks to Mischo suggestions

Luv,

Have a wonderful weekend

To Abi: Awwww, go Abi! Love it. The weave will allow your hair to rest, so that's great. And yes, I love french braids! All of my aunts used to french braid hair and I used to practice until I had them down!
