Mischo Beauty Loves Moroccanoil

So I recently learned that Moroccanoil's Hydrating Styling Cream received Beauty Logic's stamp of approval, and I trust her reviews, so I had to give this product a try! Now there's been buzz about this collection of products since this summer and everybody, and I mean everybody seems to love them. Now the collection's key ingredient is moroccan oil (also called argan oil, which I discussed here), which is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E (antioxidant), and because of this the collection is supposed to work wonders for your hair.

I tested a complete regimen (in general, I prefer to use products specifically formulated to work with one another- just my personal preference) of the following:

- Moisture Repair Shampoo
- Moisture Repair Conditioner
- Restorative Hair Mask
- Oil Treatment
- Hydrating Styling Cream

And yes, I used the regimen in the order listed above- applying both the Oil Treatment and Hydrating Styling Cream to my hair while wet. Now my hair is now 4 months post-texturizer (so my roots are natural and very thick) and my hair type is 4. I had very high expectations before using this regimen and yes, I'm impressed! My hair was easy to detangle, soft and my hair was smooth after blow drying. Everything I both heard and read was true!

So have you tried any of the above products? Love them?

How do they compare to Kerastase? Do you like these better?

I love love loooveee Moroccanoil Oil Treatment! My hair doesn't feel heavy after use and it smells so good! I also have the hydrating conditioning mask its made my hair soft as well. Duane Reade has the shampoo/conditioner combo on sale and I'm going to grab it tomorrow. :)

a Newbie to this blog today and now it's bookmarked for life!
So informative and full of blissful info!

Thanks for this post, i've been rather curious about this 'brand' of argon oil vs. whats the real stuff. I will consider this as soon as I run out of all this Global Goddess Hair Oil, which has done wonders for my type 4 hair.
also, thanks for providing the regimen order too!

To Eve's Core: Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm sure there are differences between using the original argon oil vs. Moroccanoil, due to the fact that Moroccanoil products are formulated with additional ingredients... Also, the regimen listed above worked for me specifically- but please feel free to use according to your particular hair type/needs! :)

To Lyssa: I chose to apply it while my hair was still wet (my hair needs all the moisture locked into it as it can get! I have very dry, type 4B hair)... but, again- please feel free to use according to your particular hair type/needs! :)

To Phyllis Bourne: Well I'm not brand loyal (though it may seem like it since I'm always writing about Kerastase products! LOL)- but what I will say is that Kerastase has a more extensive range of products...
