Instead of buying shower caps I clip grocery bags like a cap on my head. It may look funny but at least I'm using old grocery bags twice and I'm not creating more waste!

I really dont have a beauty plan. When earth day rolled around I started thinking about what I could change and I did ditch my makeup remover wipes and started to use a facial brush and makeup remover. Its a small change but I think Im making a difference. This kit would really be a start of a concrete green beauty plan.

I don't wear makeup that much so it lasts a REALLY long time. I don't have to buy it often thus creating less waste. GREEN!

Well, I have always tried my best to air dry my hair and not use the hairdryer. I am going to try to turn off the water when I wash my hur in the shower for the second time tonight :-) The first time was not a success.

Keep up the fantastic work....

i always turn off the water now while i'm using my body scrub in the shower... it benefits my skin too because it doesn't rinse off as quickly and makes it much softer : )

this is such a generous prize!
Well i'm just trying to conserve with everything, like not leaving flat irons plugged in, turning off the water during idle times (like when i'm lathering up the face lol or brushing teeth) and recycling empty plastic containers to house whatever concoctions i make

I have definately started reading the labels of every beauty product I have before I use it. I also read somewhere that the average women will swallow 1 pound on lipstick in a lifetime. WOW.

I only use my blowdryer twice a week same thing for my flat iron. My hair is naturally wavy so i can get away with doing this. I also cut my makeup remover cloths in half.

I've been reading about SLS that you find in pretty much every foaming product. So I found a new shampoo and facewash that is SLS free. I make my own face mask and body scrubs. I only take 5 min showers (this is also because I'm always late) and let my hair dry naturally. Also, since I went SLS free, my curls are so much more curly and bouncy!

I don't really have a 'green' beauty routine except using the hair dryer less and shutting off the water when washing my face and brushing my teeth. I am more concerned lately though on what goes on my face and will make a bigger effort to watch what I buy.

I am trying to use only organic products, not running the water when I wash my face, brush my teeth, and using washcloths instead of cotton balls for toning, etc.

During the week I limit my showers to 4 minutes. I also am making a conscious effort to turn the water off when I'm brushing my teeth.

I no longer take long showers I keep it to a 10min max when it's needed. Only use eco-friendly products and can be recycled. Use more natural and organic products for my hair and makeup. Only use makeup remover face wash. Maybe use electronic tools twice a month to save on energy costs.

Lately I've been very into multi use products. I use the same cleanser on my face and body. I've been making more of my own hair treatments and I reuse containers like mad. I find I'm buying a lot less and it's nice.

I really don't wear as much makeup anymore. I do simple things like shutting the water off when brushing my teeth or washing my face. I make my own mask with oatmeal and honey. I also recycle any bottle, boxes or plastic when I use any products up.

I turn off the water while washing my face and brushing my teeth. I also got some shopping totes in order to reduce the need for plastic bags. And i airdry my hair as much as possible and reduced my usage of hair products during the week to organic leave in sprays.

I'm not sure if I can win since I won one of your contests back in I think December or January (thanks again for the great prize!) but I figured I'd try.

I've been turning off the water while I brush my teeth lately, and I'm trying to find those Ecotools cleaning sponges for taking off my eye makeup and putting on toner.

I purchase juice beauty products and I love that they use organic ingredients, I try my best to find most of the things I use to be organic, natural, or support a charity. I buy most of my groceries from local farmers, and meat from farmers who keep their animals on a free-range. I'm very conservative with electricity and water, and I make sure to do the laundry and dishwashing at night. Being friendly to the environment is the most important thing we can do for our future!

I always recycle the packaging of the products I use-some companies use too bulky packaging so that their products look luxurious, so I try to avoid them.
I also like to use home made skin remedies, like facial masks with avocado or banana-they work great!

Instead of buying buff puffs or the disposable scubbing pads, I now use a washcloth for exfoliation. I use aspirin masks instead of expensive masks with fancy packaging (it works better too!). Also, my daughter & I carry cute totes when we grocery shop so we don't have to use the store's plastic bags. It also helps me not to overspend because I only buy the necessities that we can carry.

Great giveaway!
