Mischo Beauty Product Review: Lavilin Natural Deodorant Cream

A few months ago I wrote about my wanting to give natural deodorants a try. I did find a good one, but I've found an even better one! It's Lavilin and it's a deodorant cream formulated with arnica and calendula which work to eliminate the bacteria that causes odor. It's free of aluminum, alcohol, parabens and phthalates. The claim is that it will keep you odor free for up to 7 days, and for me it worked for 3 full days. I liked that fact that the application of the deodorant only required a very small amount and I didn't need to reapply until after the 3rd day. It's water resistant, hypo-allergenic and fragrance free and I highly recommend it!

Have you tried it?

No but I'm about to order it now! I am always on the hunt. Did it leave any kind of residue? Is it an anti-perspirant? I think it is important to perspire as the body is releasing things it needs to release. If it is water resistant that is making me a little suspicious...

i use pure aloe vera gel, though you have to apply daily like regular deodorant, it keeps me fresh and dry.

To "Curly Gurl": I don't remember it leaving a residue (you're only supposed to use a little) and I do remember sweating a little- but no odor, well not until the 3rd day. LOL! You should check it out for yourself! :)

I'm using a homemade deodorant with a mix of coconut oil, cornstarch and baking soda. Sorry I don't have the %'s here with me but it gets the job done and the coconut smells really good. I think my body is changing however because I can go a day without reapplying and have no problems but the baking soda had been effecting my skin whereas when momma used that on me as a child I could use that solo no problem. So next time I'll be using less of it but as I said gets the job done lasts me all day.

How much is it for that little thing? I'm not so sure I'd pay too much for something so small. The natural deodorant I'm using now works great and it last's for a long time.
