Mischo Beauty Pick: Rene Furterer's KARITE Collection
It includes the following:
- Rene Furterer Complexe 5 Regenerating Extract
- Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nutrition Oil
- Rene Furterer Karite Shampoo
- Rene Furterer Karite Nourishing Conditioning Cream
- Rene Furterer Karite No Rinse Nutritive Concentrate
The Intense Nutrition Oil isn't pictured above because I dropped it on my bathroom floor (it comes in a glass bottle), but it along with the Complexe 5 Regenerating Extract make an excellent pre-poo treatment. I'd have to say that my favorite product from this regimen is the Nourishing Conditioning Cream, which I'd fallen in love with years ago while apprenticing, and it does not disappoint.
I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've tried this regimen, or are thinking of trying it!

Mischo Beauty: Dream Cholesterol Conditioning Cap
The way it works is that it's "self warming", so it traps your internal body heat which helps with the conditioning process. Now I don't want you to think that this cap gets hot, because it doesn't- well unless you're running around or decide to workout with the pre-poo treatment in your hair. Anyway, this back-up didn't fail me because I loved my finished results. Bouncy, shiny hair was the goal, and that's what I ended up with!

Mischo Beauty Loves Shu Uemura Art of Hair's Essence Absolue
Shu Uemura's newest product, Essence Absolue, is multitasking - which is perfect in this economy! You can use it as a pre-poo/pre-shampoo treatment, blow drying serum, leave-in conditioner, hair polisher, add it to dry ends before bed, and the list goes on and on! It's key ingredient is "Camellia Oil"- which I've discussed before, and I love the light scent. The beauty lover/product junkie in me WILL be using this up to the very last drop, and definitely making hair cocktails with it!

Mischo Beauty: My "Pre-Poo" Hair Treatment
I section my hair into small sections, and apply the treatment from roots to ends using the brush pictured above. I then cover my hair with a plastic cap, sit under a hooded hair dryer for about 30 minutes, and then shampoo!
It's very simple to make, and very easy to use- and very necessary during this cold, dry winter season. Simply put- it's a great nourishing treatment for the hair. Any questions? Love your hair.
