Mischo Beauty Pick: C.O. Bigelow Lemon Body Cleanser & Lotion

This set is great for those mornings (like today for me) where you'd rather stay in bed watching movies all day. The lemon scent is citrusy- not too strong, actually just right- making the set a great morning pick-me-up.

Mischo Beauty Loves Glowology Simply Divine

I've had the Glowology Simply Divine set which includes the Lovely Body Lotion and the Heavenly Honey Wash for months now, and I'm a little mad at myself for just now trying them out! I love products that leave my skin silky smooth, and that's what the result was after using these! They're specifically formulated for sensitive skin (my skin is easily sensitized), but all skin types would definitely appreciate them!

Mischo Beauty Pick: Desert Essence Organics

After learning more about the benefits of jojoba oil in cosmetology school and trying to take steps toward using more natural products, I started using Desert Essence's Jojoba Oil. So when they offered to send me their Green Apple & Ginger Body Wash (smells good enough to eat!), Almond Hand and Body Lotion and Lip Rescue in an effort to help me winterize my skin I was eager to try what they'd offered.

I'm loving all three products, and using the body wash as my current morning "pick-me-up". You should know that all of their products are 100% vegan and contain no parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial colors, silicones, EDTA, glycol or petroleum-based ingredients. Mischo Beauty Pick: Dove Body Wash with NutriumMoisture

So I couldn't wait to test out Dove's new selection of body washes (Deep Moisture, Gentle Exfoliating and Sensitive Skin) formulated with NutriumMoisture. You're probably asking what exactly "NutriumMoisture" is? Well it's a formula that uses "100% natural moisturizers" which are absorbed into the skin (past the outermost layer!). According to Dove, it is the only body wash formula that's fully absorbed by the skin - moisturizers in other body washes sit on top of the skin, leaving it partially moisturized.

I've tried all three formulas, and I'm happy to report that each left my skin soft and smooth. Although I loved the consistency of the Deep Moisture and Sensitive Skin formulas (both are rich and creamy), my favorite was the Gentle Exfoliating formula. It is very gentle- no worries about it's exfoliating beads scratching your skin! And if you've been following my blog, then you know I'm an exfoliant addict -I love the benefits of exfoliation!

Mischo Beauty Pick: Patyka Madarine Bath Shower

Recently, I've added Patyka's Madarine Bath Shower to my rotation of body washes and I had to tell you that I've been very pleased with it! The body wash leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth- and it doesn't irritate my skin. The scent is light and actually refreshing- perfect for the mornings.

Patyka, a French luxury brand of certified bath and body products, grows all of their organic materials. The products are free of ingredients which might be harmful to the skin and environment. I love that there's a range of products for different skin types/issues and I'm loving even more that there's a newly opened store in Manhattan!

Has anyone else tried this line?

Mischo Beauty Pick: Juicy Couture Bath and Body Collection

If you're like me you probably have a few bath products you keep in rotation. Depending on my mood, I have my products I call my "pick-me-ups", those I use for relaxation, those for detoxing, etc. Well I'm currently using a set of products by Juicy Couture which includes the Frothy Shower Gel, Body Sorbet, Sumptuous Sugar Scrub, Royal Body Creme and the Decadent Dusting Powder. Oh and I can't forget to mention the Scented Candle, with top notes of passion fruit, melon, marigold, apple, water hyacinth and crushed leaves.

Using these products together seriously makes me feel like I'm in heaven and they've been added to my rotation! The scents are amazing. And of course, I've been asked which of all the products is my favorite- well, I'm loving them all, but if I just had to choose I'd say the Scented Candle and the Sumptuous Sugar Scrub.

The scent of the candle is so light and refreshing and seems to last for hours. Those of you who've been following my blog know that I'm addicted to exfoliating, so of course I'm loving the Sumptuous Sugar Scrub. I love soft and smooth skin and this doesn't disappoint. Oh and I need to mention the texture of the Decadent Dusting Powder (which is made with real crushed pearls), it's so silky and very easy to apply with the included pink puff.

So if you're thinking about treating yourself for Valentine's Day, then you should definitely consider this. Why? Because you're totally worth it!

Mischo Beauty Pick: Weleda Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash

I must tell you all that I have a new found love for Weleda products! I've just finished using the Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash and I can't wait to get more! It's free of synthetic fragrances, colours, preservatives and mineral oils and it's formulated with vegetable-based cleansers. On my skin it's smooth and silky, and did I mention how much I LOVE the scent?

It's fragrance of oranges and grapefruit (from pure essential oils) pulled me in and I knew it would be my new morning "pick-me-up"! I've been running daily this month in an effort to raise awarencess and funding for breast cancer research and so I'll just say that some mornings have been better than others. This has really helped to get me going on the slower mornings!
