What's your current beauty obsession?

Last summer it was all about the fabulous extensions/weave I was wearing- and yes, I was in LOVE with it! LOL. I was obsessed with selecting hair to match my natural haircolor, styling it to fit my personality and of course, most importantly, the care and maintenance of it. I was even going to two stylists, in two different salons, in two different states! Just a little obsessed, but all in fun...

So my question for you today is: What's your current beauty obsession?

  1. Hair gel! I started using Eco styler (clear gel) for my coily hair and it does a really good job keeping it tame. It's been a staple in my routine for the past month. Plus it's only $1.99!!

  2. I love to use coconut oil for my hair, as well as my body. It will be a mainstay in my beauty regimen forever!!

  4. My beauty obsession is nail polish.

Polish is basically inexpensive, you can buy it anywhere & with soooo many colors, it's just fun. Don't even get me started about nail designs, Konad, etc! :)

*I really enjoyed your interview on BlogTalk Radio. It was so inspiring!*

  5. Hey all!

Mine happens to be depilatory products! They are probably bad for you but I have this thing against body hair & between waxings...

I'll try the creams, the sprays - I'll try them all. I have at least 4 different ones right now. Veet wins, hands-down - but I keep my eyes peeled for new ones. I promise to use those up before I go buy anymore.

    TMI, sorry. :-)

P.S. I too enjoyed you on Blog Talk Radio!

  6. I'm with Melany, my current obsession is nail polish! I've always kept bottles around but lately I've been stalking polish blogs/twitters, etc for the latest in colors and trends.

Currently, I'm in love with rounded or oval shaped nails...but my nails wont grow long enough to achieve the look. So, although I LOVE natural nails, I'm debating on going back to acrylics....hmmm....

  8. Eye shadow! Since I can remember, my face has had a uniform- concealer, powder, heavy upper and lower lid liner, a light gloss over a liner. Now, I've been experimenting with eye shadows and I've finally got it down. I even get compliments on my blending. So much fun!

  10. Mine is also nail polish! I didn't expect to see that so many times yet! lol. I too have been all over the nail sites...

I purchased an Essie mini set on Saturday, and then stumbled upon Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure on Sunday--had to have it, its a rare find! I can't wait to go home and hook up my manicure after work. I have about 8 new polishes in wait to rock for manis and pedis. I think I'm done purchasing for awhile...
